Samo da vI kazem da se motori projektuju i ispituju na upad 'tica. To je jedan od vaznijih zahteva pri sertifikaciji motora. Motor, novi tip (model), ne moze da se okaci na avion dok se ne potvrdi, pruzi nepobitni dokaz, da:- Krhotine rotora kompresora (to je u prednjem delu motora, mozda cela prva polovina), pogotovo fenskih (ventilatorskih) lopatica (prve najduze, koje se vide na putnickim avionima, najmasivnije, sa najvecom kinetickom energijom pri 100% obrtaja) ne mogu da probiju kucista. To je za upad golemih 'tica pri poletanju, kada motor neminovno rikne ali ne sme da izazove ostecenja vitalnih sistema na avionu. Avion mora da ostane upravljiv. Recicete pa sta, udaris deblje kuciste, medjutim nije bas tako jednostavno jer je svako kilo' vazno.- Motor mora da nastavi da radi, sa smanjenim potiskom, posle upada vise sitnih 'tica, recimo do velicine goluba. Ovo mora da se dokaze na stvarnom motoru ispaljivanjem 5, 6 tica, mase recimo 200 gr, u kratkom vremenskom periodu, u motor koji radi na 100% obrtaja. Ispitivanje je standardizovano tako da je sve propisano. Broj 'tica, masa tica, brzina udara i "chestotja" (moje brojke su vise da docaraju situaciju nego sto su tacne), a da motor mora da nastavi da radi sa recimo 60% potiska (ovi procenti nemaju veze sa brojem obrtaja).DakleM i mi glupi masinci smo vremenom shvatili sta je bitno i prihvatili ovakve projektne zahteve. Mozda smo cak i ucestvovali u njihovom formulisanju. Recimo nekada davno, u pocetku ere mlaznjaka, lopatice turbine su bile prilican problem. Materijali i tehnologije izrade jos nisu bili dovoljno dobri. Postoji neki fenomen "puzanja" tih materijala koji dovodi do izduzenja turbinskih lopatica i doprinosio otkidanju. Otkinuti parcici tih lopatica su umeli da probiju kuciste (oblogu) i prosisaju kroz trup. Zato na starim borbenim avionima mozete da vidite poprecnu, crvenu shtraftu oko trupa na mestu gde je turbina motora (koji je u trupu). Tu nije bilo uputno muvati se dok motor radi, pogotovo na visim rezimima.Elem treba odati priznanje i nama (masincima i materijalistima, kazem materijalistima, a ne metalurzima, jer se u oblogama ventilatorskog dela recimo koristi i kevlar) sto taj krsh iz motora nije probio pa recimo skenjao neku 'idrauliku. Zatim Erbasu sto su dobro sklopili i zaptili tu metalnu 'ticu i sto nije pukla pri dodiru sa vodom. I naravno najvise majstoru koji je tako maestralno sleteo. Ima sigurno tu nesto i srece ali pre svega iskustvo, znanje, umece, vestina i svakako zivci ko konopci. LCC ukida check-in na aerodromima :o

Ryanair says it wants to abolish check-in desks to save moneyRyanair has confirmed it plans to close all of its airport check-in desks by the end of the year in a bid to reduce the cost of its flights.From the start of 2010, all Ryanair passengers will need to check in online in order to confirm their flights.Officials at the Irish airline said that, by reducing its costs at airports, savings will be passed on to passengers through lower fares.The carrier said that 75% of its passengers already checked in online.Spokesman Stephen McNamara said the airline saw the move as the "logical next step" in an effort to pass on savings to passengers through reduced fares.Ryanair chief executive Michael O'Leary told the Daily Telegraph that passengers will be able to leave their luggage at a bag drop but otherwise everything will be done online."Ultimately, we want just one in five people to check in luggage," he said.The carrier said that 97% of passengers booked online already and 75% used the internet to check in.

Logican redosled poteza, pogotovo u njihovom slucaju kada im se 75% putnika vec cekira online. To ce biti zaista znacajno smanjenje troskova. Za ocekivati je da uskoro i drugi LCC-ijevi krenu tim putem, a mozda i neko od Legacy carrier-a tipa BA koji takodje ima ogroman procenat online knjizenja.

Air New Zealand to vec uveo i, mogu reci, radi fantasticno.Za FFP i putnike sa statusom ne treba cak ni check in da se radi (ako nemas prtljag), vec se samo uputis u avion i tamo skeniras ili MMS na telefonu ili skeniras chip koji dobijes besplatno.Fenomenalno, a boardin moze da se radi 10 minuta pre poletanja, umesto uobicajenih 30 minuta za domacinske letove.Da vidite kako to funkcionise, otidjite na www.changingthewayyoufly.co.nz i kliknite na "Our new domestic terminals".
