Nisu objavljeni nikakvi glasovi, samo poslanici - štaviše, na sajtu izborne komisije nema nikakvih rezultata. Izgleda da su iz MUD-a lepo objasnili glasačima da treba da glasaju za listu u donjem levom uglu.

 

Pokrivanje na režimskoj televiziji izgleda kao da su izbori bili u nekoj nesusednoj zemlji (par minuta o izborima uz obavezno spominjanje "ekonomskog rata" i "medijske kampanje", a onda desetak minuta vesti iz sveta). Pušteno je svega par sekundi izjave predstavnika MUD-a, a na sajtu piše da je "ultradesnica" osvojila 99 poslanika.

 

Državni radio pak vest o izborima naslovio "Čudna diktatura! 74,25% biračkog tela učestvovalo na izborima", a negde pred kraj vesti su zakopani rezultati i poraz čavista uz referenciranje MUD-a (skraćenica znači: Okrugli sto demokratskog jedinstva) kao samoprozvanog.

Inače, evo za šta je potrebna koja većina, vlada se naravno uopšte ne spominje jer je imenuje predsednik.

3/5 vecinu bi trebali imati (falila su im dva poslanika po zadnjim rezultatima).

Bilo bi dobro da dobiju i tu dvotrecinsku vecinu.

Onaj opozicioni blog je tvrdio da vlast razmatra da ukrade 5 mesta kako opozicija ne bi imala dvotrećinsku većinu.

U svakom slučaju ovakvo objavljivanje rezultata na kašičicu jednom dnevno je čista boleština i lako se može desiti da ukazuje na muljanje, tim pre što je vlast pre izbora trubila o najnaprednijem automatizovanom izbornom procesu u kojem se "zvanični i precizni rezultati brzo objavljuju":

Sto naravno ne znaci da su autoritarci bez izbora bolji.

Ima tu neke gradacije.

 

Maduro je priznao poraz. To je dobra vest kakve su mogle biti (odlaganje izbora, reziranje haosa, vojska na ulicama, vanredno stanje).

To ne znaci da se u buducnosti nece desiti, da ce krsiti ustav kako bi stvorio paralelne strukture i zaobisao Skupstinu, itd., itd.. ali za sada je to dobra vest i kuknjava na ekonomski rat, kontrarevoluciju i sl. je tu manje vazna.

Privatni nacionalni TV kanal Venevision tvrdi da je izborna komisija ažurirala rezultate tj. napravila drugu objavu u kojoj je potvrdila dvotrećinsku većinu opozicije, i da su ostala upitna još 4 mandata.

Ovaj odnos snaga pominje se na Tviteru u poslednja 4 sata, a prvo je pripisivan opozicionaru Kaprilesu. O tome ne javlja niko drugi (posebno ne državna TV i TeleSur na čijem tikeru i dalje stoji 99 za MUD). Na sajtu komisije stoje neki ultrabajati podaci, stariji i od one prve konferencije za štampu.

Ako se ovo ispostavi kao tačno i vlast nema trojanske konje na listi opozicije, sledeći korak je po svoj prilici referendum za smenu Madura, čiji mandat ističe tek 2018.

 

U svakom slučaju, skandalozno je što se ni 24 sata posle izbora ne znaju potpuni rezultati.

Konačno objavljeni potpuni zvanični rezultati, MUD ima 2/3 većinu sa 112 poslanika, jer su 3 poslanika iz redova domorodaca takođe njihovi.

Executive Secretary of opposition coalition Unified Democratic Panel (MUD), Jesús "Chúo" Torrealba, pointed out that the delay by the National Electoral Council (CNE) to disclose the final results of the parliament vote "corresponds to a communication operation to try to tone down the impact of the news of the massive defeat suffered by the ruling party."

Torrealba reasserted that according to vote records in his possession, "the parliament group of the Unified Democratic Panel comprises 112 deputies, which implies the qualified majority."

He explained that in addition to the 107 MUD deputies the CNE already acknowledges, the three indigenous parliamentarians are also members of the MUD, which totals 110 deputies. Moreover, the two seats pending to be awarded were also definitely won by the MUD, according to Torrealba.

On Thursday, the 112 opposition deputies will hold a meeting in Caracas to discuss their work agenda, MUD's executive secretary added.

Zaoštravanje na pomolu, opozicija poručila Maduru da prestane da cmizdri i počne da rešava nestašice koje je napravio svojom politikom i oslobodi političke zatvorenike, a Maduro im u trosatnom TV nastupu uzvratio da mogu da mu pošalju 1000 zakona, ali uhapšeni opozicionari (ubice, kako ih je on nazvao) neće biti oslobođeni i najavio vanredni kongres partije i promene u vladi.

CARACAS, Dec 8 (Reuters) - Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced an imminent cabinet reshuffle on Tuesday after his ruling Socialist Party was crushed in legislative elections, but he vowed to veto opposition plans for an amnesty law for jailed politicians.

The government was stunned by Sunday's elections, winning just 55 seats against the opposition's 112 and losing control of the National Assembly for the first time since former President Hugo Chavez took office in 1999.

One of the opposition's main aims in the new legislature is to secure the release of jailed politicians, most notably Leopoldo Lopez who was imprisoned for leading anti-government protests in 2014 that triggered violence leading to more than 40 deaths.

Maduro, though, was defiant during a three-hour television appearance on Tuesday night.

"I will not accept any amnesty law, because they violated human rights," Maduro said. "They can send me a thousand laws but the murderers have to be prosecuted and have to pay."

Venezuela's opposition urged Maduro earlier on Tuesday to stop making excuses for his candidates' defeat and instead urgently tackle food shortages and free the jailed politicians.

The worst economic crisis in the OPEC country's recent history has Venezuelan staples including flour, milk, meat and beans running scarce. Shortages are particularly bad for the poor and beyond the capital, Caracas, with shoppers lining up for hours hoping a delivery truck will arrive.

"We urge the government to stop crying and start working," Democratic Unity coalition leader Jesus Torrealba told a news conference under a sign reading: "Thank you Venezuela, we won!"

The government boosted imports in the run-up to the election, but overall shipments have tumbled this year because of a recession and low oil prices, with many economists warning the scarcity may worsen over Christmas.

"We're just a few weeks away from a very serious problem in terms of food," Torrealba said.

Anger over shortages propelled the opposition to a long-elusive victory in Sunday's vote for a new National Assembly.

The coalition even swept traditional bastions of "Chavismo," the movement named after former President Hugo Chavez, including the Caracas slums and Chavez's home state of Barinas.

New legislators plan to launch investigations into corruption and pressure the government into publishing economic data such as inflation, which have not been divulged in a year.

Despite an overwhelming mandate for change, there is little the new opposition-controlled legislature will be able to do about unwieldy currency and price controls, which are a major factor in the economic problems.

'CLEAR SIGNAL FOR MADURO'

That supermajority of two-thirds gives the opposition a strong platform to challenge the broadly unpopular Maduro.

Sunday's defeat has not prompted a mea culpa from the government or promises of substantial reform, although Maduro is facing heat from dissenting factions within his own coalition, once united in devotion to Chavez.

"The bad guys won," Maduro said on Tuesday night.

A senior government representative who asked not to be named acknowledged the election result was a clear signal for Maduro, adding there needed to be profound discussion and change within the government or it will face very serious trouble.

Maduro has said the Socialist Party will hold an "extraordinary congress" and established commissions to "evaluate the situation and emerge with concrete proposals," suggesting some soul-searching is in store.
 
During his Tuesday night program, Maduro announced an imminent Cabinet reshuffle, although he gave no details.

He and his top officials continue to blame an "economic war" for confusing Venezuelans, describe the opposition as a "counter-revolutionary" force, and warn disenchanted former supporters they will regret their vote.

Maduro has said the opposition is a U.S.-backed elite who would snatch government-provided houses and subsidized food from the poor.

State television, which largely blocks out opposition rallies and news conferences, has since Sunday minimized coverage of the election, instead broadcasting Chavez speeches, sports and features on the government's social projects.

"This government does not understand that it lost, nor the magnitude of what is at stake," opposition activist Maria Corina Machado said.
