Cypriot police suspect a man they arrested this week of planning an attack on Israeli interests in Europe after they found almost two tonnes of ammonium nitrate in his basement, local newspapers reported on Friday.

Two newspapers said it was thought the individual, who has not been named, had a close link with the group's leader, Hassan Nasrallah.

All three said police suspected Israeli interests were the target, and one said that authorities believed the ammonium nitrate had been amassing at the residence for some time.

According to information provided to the Israeli defense establishment, Cyprus believes the island was to serve as a "point of export" for a series of attacks in Europe. Targets were to include Jewish sites, including synagogues, as well as Western targets.

Jewish visitors to the Auschwitz concentration camp have spoken of their shock after showers were put up at the entrance to help them cope with the hot weather.

With temperatures in Poland soaring up to 37 degrees, the showers which spray a fine mist of water, greeted visitors at the former death camp.

However, the move has resulted in angry complaints led by a group of Israeli visitors, after comparisons were drawn to the showers used in gas chambers by the Nazis to kill millions of Jews.

The Israeli parliament has passed a law banning journalists working for the country's public broadcast authority from expressing their opinions on air.

The law, passed early Thursday in the middle of the night, drew criticism from journalists, who accused the government of trying to stifle dissent.

The law says broadcasts should "avoid one-sidedness, prejudice, expressing personal opinions, giving grades and affixing labels."

The Israel Press Council urged parliament to cancel the law, saying it violates free speech.

Cabinet Minister Ofir Akunis said the law only applies to newscasts. He told Channel 2 TV that some journalists critical of the government "aren't being professional and are doing it for political reasons."

It remains unclear how the law will be enforced.

Take the airport bus to Amman’s Abdali. There is one daily Jett bus from Abdali to the King Hussein Bridge at departing at 07:00.http://www.jett.com.jo/SubPage.aspx?PageId=230If you miss the Jett bus, take a taxi to the border. From the border it’s a bus ride across the bridge. A minivan from the Israeli side of the border, to Jerusalem’s Damascus Gate. A tram ride from the Damascus Gate to Jerusalem’s central bus station (or a 30 minute walk), and then a frequent bus or sherut to Tel-Aviv.

Inace, karta je od 23. okt - 5. nov. A plan je 3 dana TA, 3-4 dana Jerusalim, 2 dana Eilat, ostalo na Jordan.

Dakle, u Jcity bih stigao pocetkom nedelje. Vikend bih izbegao
