Sve je to lepo objašnjeno u dokumentarnom filmu Čija je ovo pesma? Adele Peeve, pa ne treba izmišljati toplu vodu. U tekstu sam u brzini neprecizno navela naziv mozaika Rođenje Afrodite ( iako je reč o istom božanstvu), a drugo Posejdon bog mora, krilati leopard ( a ne panter).

Heh, koincidencija...

Sinoć rezervisali za 4-8. april, ali drugar nije hteo ni da čuje za kompaniju koja mu nije poznata, pa idemo Turkish Airlines-om. Imaju fine termine leta.

Baš se radujem, maštam o odlasku u Istanbul poslednjih 10+ godina :)

kapiram da ove ponude moraju momentalno da se uhvate jer se cene bukvalno dannakon objavljivanja vracaju na normalu?

Napravila sam neki preliminarni plan šta bih volela da vidim...

Zanima me sledeće, pošto su poruke na sajtovima zbunjujuće: da li Istanbul Museum Pass obuhvata i Harem u Topkapi, ili ne obuhvata?

 

Takođe me interesuje koliko vredi iscimati se do Prinčevskih ostrva za prvi put (imam na raspolaganju 3 cela dana, plus još 2x po pola dana), pošto kapiram da na to ide ceo 1 dan? 

Plan je ispod, eventualno bih ga dopunila Rahmi Koc muzejem, na osnovu Vasine preporuke sa ove teme.

 

THE PLAN

· GÜLHANE PARK (Free, 8 min walk)

Public park, open to all. Check out Tea Garden Cafes.

Column of the Goths (18.5 m high) is the oldest Roman Era monument in Istanbul.

 

· ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUMS (Museum Pass, 8 min walk)

Visiting hours: 09.00-19.00. The Museum is closed on Mondays.

Consists of the following museums:
1. The Archaeology Museum,

2. Museum of the Ancient Near East,

3. The Tiled Pavilion/Kiosk (Çinili Köşk) with adjoint Garden café.

It needs one to four hours to visit.

 

·  HAGIA SOPHIA (Museum Pass/30 TL, 9 min walk)

Visiting hours: 09.00-17.00 (Oct 1-Apr 14). Before 2016 it was closed on Mondays.

Ayasofia was built in 537AD by the Emperor Justinian (527-65AD). Since 1935 (decision by Atatürk) it was converted into museum.

 

· TOPKAPI PALACE (Museum Pass/40 TL, 11 min walk)

Visiting hours: 09.00-16.45 (Oct 1-Apr 14). The Palace is closed on Tuesdays.

Note: Harem closes earlier and needs more time to visit. Does Museum Pass cover Harem???

 

· THE BLUE MOSQUE (Free, 12 min walk)

A working mosque, built in 1603-17!

Avoid Ezam + 30 min times (5:42, 13:12, 17:07, 20:21, 22:08)!

Non-Muslims enter by the door on the south side of the mosque, it is to the right as you enter from the Hippodrome.

 

· BYZANTINE HIPPODROME (Free, 8 min walk)

City park with Free WiFi.

Important monuments: Milion triumphal gate, Obelisk of Theodosians (3500 years old)

 

· THE BASILICA CISTERN (10 TL, 8 min walk)

Visiting hours: 09.00-17.30.

The Basilica Cistern (Yerebatan Sarniç) is situated at the Sultanahmet Square, north-east of the Hippodrome. Entrance: Yerebatan Caddesi. It needs approximately 1 hour to visit.

 

· BINBIRDIREK CISTERN (Free, 8 min walk)

Visiting hours: 09.00-18.00.

Second largest underground cistern in Istanbul (after the Basilica one), it is known under the name “1001 columns”. Built in 330AD, it is situated west of the Hippodrome.

 

· EMINONU PIER (25 TL, 9 min walk)

· KARIYE MUSEUM (Museum Pass/30 TL, 34 min, walk+bus)

Visiting hours: 09:00-17:00

The Museum is closed on Wednesdays.

Chora church possesses the best Byzantine mosaics in the region. It was built in late 11th century.

 

· GRAND BAZAAR (Free, 15-17 min walk)

Kapali Çarşi or Covered Market contains around 4000 shops.

The Market is closed on Sundays.

 

· MUSEUM OF INNOCENCE (30 TL, 20 min, walk+bus )

Visiting hours: 10.00-18.00 Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

                               10:00 - 21:00 Thursday

The Museum is closed on Mondays.

Trebalo bi, obuhvatao je u maju 2015 kad sam ja bio. Inače izgleda da je od skoro poskupeo, sad je 125 tl, ali se i dalje isplati.

Da, i ja sam malopre skontala da je poskupeo... planiram da ga kupim na biletarnici Arheološkog muzeja kad doputujem, pa polako. Ako makar prištedi čekanja u redovima - dobro jest.

ubaci u plan Sulejmaniju i Novu dzamiju ako mozes. Narocito ovu drugu. prelepa je i blizu ti je, izmedju eminonu i kapali carsije

Hvala na savetu :).

Pretpostavljam da su to džamije "u radnom stanju", pa da moram da vodim računa da ne remetim ona vremena za molitve?

(Kad sam već kod toga - da li su džamije otvorene stalno, sve do poslednje molitve oko 22h?)

U okviru Museum Pass je i Aja Irina - napuštena pravoslavna crkva koja je pretvorena u muzej (između Topkapi i Aja Sofije) i Muzej mozaika ispod Plave džamije, a mislim da ih ne treba propustiti.

 

Harem u Topkapi nije obuhvaćen Museumpassom, ulaz košta 25 TL.

 

Ukoliko nisi već pronašla, evo linka za kalendar namaza  za 2018. pa uskladi sa danima kad si u Istanbulu.
