vememah Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) EU diplomate razdragano o budućem statusu Britanije. The idea that Britain could have access under a European Economic Area style deal and impose border controls was a non-starter, diplomats said.Diplomats agreed that the UK would only be able to access the market of currently about 500 million people if it accepted the authority of competition regulators, the monitoring of the European Commission and the authority of the European Court of Justice.“One must understand that acceding to and participating in the single market is not possible without the rules. If you want to benefit from the single market that is it. You have to accept the supremacy of community law,” a diplomat said....“Until Article 50 is activated there will be no formal or informal negotiations. The range of possibilities for the UK’s future status are large, it could be the status of North Korea or that of Turkey,” a diplomat said.http://www.euractiv.com/section/uk-europe/news/post-brexit-britain-must-accept-eu-courts-freedom-of-movement-rules-to-access-single-market-warn-diplomats/ Edited June 27, 2016 by vememah

MancMellow Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 EU diplomate razdragano o budućem statusu Britanije. Nista, WTO. Ludilo.
Prospero Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) Britain should have a second referendum on the terms of leaving the European Union if it can secure a new deal to control its borders , a Conservative Cabinet minister says. He says the new Prime Minister must be allowed to “negotiate a deal” with Brussels and “put it to the British people” by either calling a general election or having another referendum. He says that Britain must remain in the single market and reach a “sensible compromise” with the EU of freedom of movement rules to allow the UK to control migration. Mr Hunt says: “We must not invoke Article 50 straight away because that puts a time limit of two years on negotiations after which we could be thrown out with no deal at all. So before setting the clock ticking, we need to negotiate a deal and put it to the British people, either in a referendum or through the Conservative manifesto at a fresh General Election.” ... Mr Cameron also said there is a “very strong case” for remaining in the single market, something which EU leaders say is impossible without accepting unlimited numbers of migrants from the continent. Both Mr Hunt and Mr Cameron insist that the result of the referendum must be accepted and that Britain will leave the EU. However, their comments risk angering Eurosceptics who believe that ending freedom of movement rules is a “red line” and may accuse them of ignoring the vote to Leave the EU. Mr Hunt says: “The people have spoken - and Parliament must listen. Britain must and will leave the EU. But we did not vote on the terms of our departure.” He says that the referendum shows that “that the country has rejected the free movement of people as it currently operates”. “So our plan must be to encourage them to reform those rules, thereby opening up a space for a ‘Norway plus’ option for us - full access to the single market with a sensible compromise on free movement rules,” Mr Hunt adds. “As their biggest non-EU trading partner, it is in the European interest to do this deal with them as much as it is in our interests to secure it.” He says by negotiating an exit deal and putting it to the British people in a vote , it will “concentrate minds across the Channel: if they want to conclude this amicably and quickly, which is in their interests as much as ours, they need to put a ‘Norway plus’ deal on the table”. ... Zbunjen je kao dva ludaka u buretu. A hoće i da povede zemlju u bolje sutra: Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt is "highly likely" to launch a bid to succeed David Cameron as prime minister, the political editor of the Spectator magazine tweeted on Monday, without citing sources. Prospero Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Poland would like to see Britain hold a second in-out referendum on its membership of the EU, the country's ruling party leader said today.Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the powerful leader of Poland's conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party, said the bloc would have to 'radically change' in order for Britons to want to return. The former Prime Minister said that the 'idea for today... foresees efforts aimed at making Britain return' which included a second referendum. But, he cautioned, the 'EU would have to radically change' for this scenario to be feasible. 'Britain today risks falling apart', he added, quoted by the Polish PAP news agency. Kaczynski is the first European leader to make an outright call for a second referendum.
