A Victorian church refused to marry a young couple and cancelled their wedding plans because the bride-to-be expressed support for same-sex marriage on Facebook. In a letter to the bride, provided to Fairfax Media, Mr North said the views expressed in the Facebook post had "practical consequences" for the wedding. "After the pre-marital counselling that you attended and the sermons delivered at Ebenezer on this subject, you must surely appreciate that your commitment to same-sex marriage opposes the teaching of Christ Jesus and the scriptural position practiced by the Presbyterian Church of Australia and by me," Slučaj II - Otkaz zbog komentara "u redu je glasati ne na referendumu" https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2017/sep/20/company-that-fired-woman-for-saying-its-ok-to-vote-no-may-have-broken-law Ukratko, vlasnica firme je ovakav status okarakterisala kao hate speech. "It is not okay to vote no. Iti is not okay to be homophobic". ... “As a business that works with children of all kinds, we have a responsibility to working with vulnerable people and having someone who is out [and] proud about their beliefs (of which are statistically proven to have horrible effects on young members of the gay community) is a risk for the wellbeing of the children we work with.” Jer, ovde imamo slučaj da jedna progresivno orijentisana šefica otpušta radnicu zbog stavova koje iznosi na FB i koristi klasičnu korporativnu argumentaciju "it is bad for business" i "As a business owner I can not have somebody who publicly represents my business posting hate speech online". Edited September 20, 2017 by pacey defender
