Njihova vojska je bila sastavljena od placenika dok su francuzi poslali sve svoje najbolje vitezove (osim Jean bez straha od Bourgogne koji se protivio fr kralju Charles-u VI ludom).Englezi su se oslonili na strijelce koji su bili rasporedjeni na strateskim mjestima i lagano su ciljali francuse koji su se borili u teskim oklopima.Na kraju su Englezi pogubili sve zatvorenike (ne praveci razliku izmedju princeva i obicnih vojnika).
