topuzina Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Nije prevodilački, ali jeste autorski. Ranije danas sam recenzirao jedan članak u kome nam autori saopštavaju da na svetu postoje "more and less skillful typewriters" i da je u statističkoj analizi njihovih podataka bilo potrebno uzeti u obzir relativnu brzinu kojom ti "typewriters" mrdaju prstićima, što su oni smerno uključili u svoj mešoviti linearni model.
*edited by mod Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Upravo ide neki stand up na Comedy Central i lik prica White people invented Polka, Gregorian chanting and Country. a prevod je Belci su izmislili Polku, Gregorijansko pojanje i Drzavu.

Weenie Pooh Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Zar nije Blic imao zasebnu temu?
Prevelo s francuskog ovako: "The idiom: Sauter du coq à l’âne. Literal translation: “To jump from the cock to the donkey.” What it means: “It means to keep changing topics without logic in a conversation.” Još samo da su âne preveli njegovim engleskim kognatom (ass). http://blog.ted.com/2015/01/20/40-idioms-that-cant-be-translated-literally/ Edited February 11, 2015 by topuzina
Amelija Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 btw ja sam drugačije shvatala izraz "da vidimo čija majka crnu vunu prede", no možda je i to neki biserčić
topuzina Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 (edited) Aaaaaaaa! This is one of those things I'll never be able to unsee. Edip: A ima rvatski na kraju. Sad kapiram. Ja bio stao kod francuskog. Sad kad si pomenula kevinu crnu vunu a ja nisam imao taj kontekst, moš misliti moju traumatičnu mentalnu sliku. Da, zagovnao je taj prevod. To je pogrešno. Weenie Pooh Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 A da li je zgovnao i "muda labudova"? (It means something that’s impossible.)
