The Bolivarian National Armed Forces report to the whole world that at dawn today, January 3, our sacred soil has been subjected to further criminal military aggression by the government of the United States of North America. So far, our territory has been desecrated in Fuerte Tiuna, Caracas, and the states of Miranda, Aragua, and La Guaira, with missiles and rockets fired from combat helicopters impacting urban areas of civilian population. That is why, at this time, I invoke the name of our country, because we were taught that dignity is not for sale and that the homeland is the supreme value. They have attacked us, but they will not break us. United as soldiers and people, we form an indestructible wall of resistance. Our vocation is peace, but our heritage is the fight for freedom. We who extend a hand in brotherhood also raise our fist in defense of what is ours.

Let us unite, for in the union of the people we will find the strength to resist and defeat. In the midst of this imperial storm, I make a fervent call for serenity, unity, and calm. Desperation is an ally of the enemy. We do not give in to the panic they want to sow. Let's avoid chaos and anarchy, which are weapons as lethal as bombs. Let us demonstrate to the world the fiber of which we are made: let us be resilient, maintain our integrity in adversity, and put into action all national defense plans.

For this reason, and in compliance with the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Organic Law on States of Exception, and the Organic Law on National Security, we unconditionally support the decree of a state of exception throughout the national territory. Consequently, men and women of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, under the command of the Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, our Commander-in-Chief, we will deploy all our capabilities for the integral defense of the nation, the restoration of order, and peace.

Therefore, we will activate across the entire national geographic space, in perfect civil-military-police union, through the massive deployment of all air, naval, riverine, and land-based missile means. We will develop integral defense systems to ensure the integration of elements of national power in our mission to face imperial threats, forming a single combat unit.

We call on you so that the cry of a free homeland resounds in every corner. Victory is ours because reason and dignity accompany us. We will win. Long live Venezuela!"
