Sirius Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) Kao sto sam i pricao da ce poceti da se desava:Nemci štrajkuju zbog malih plata According to the DIW(German Institute for Economic Research), the average net wage has fallen by 2.5 percent in a decade. Average annual real income in 2000 was €1,429; 10 years later it was €1,394. Average gross income has declined even more.
Sirius Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 ‘Worst Still to Come’ for Europe: Citi EconomistDespite high-profile measures such as the Greek debt deal and mass pumping of liquidity into the banking system, Europe’s problems have merely been delayed for another day, Willem Buiter, chief economist at Citi“We have really just paused for breath,” he said. “It (the long-term refinancing operation) really hasn’t solved the problem, and for Europe the worst is still to come.”He also predicted a further “large-scale ECB intervention” later this year or in early 2013. The European Central Bank [cnbc explains] injected close to 1 trillion euros ($1.3 trillion) through three-year loans at a very low interest rate into the European banking system in two operations in December and February.
Sirius Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Syntagma Square Suicide Note Ends With Call To Young Greek People To "Hang The Traitors"State media has reported that Dimitris Christoulas, the man who took his own life using a pistol on Syntagma Square, in central Athens, on Wednesday morning, left a suicide note. "The Tsolakoglou government has annihilated all traces for my survival, which was based on a very dignified pension that I alone paid for 35 years with no help from the state. And since my advanced age does not allow me a way of dynamically reacting (although if a fellow Greek were to grab a Kalashnikov, I would be right behind him), I see no other solution than this dignified end to my life, so I don’t find myself fishing through garbage cans for my sustenance. I believe that young people with no future, will one day take up arms and hang the traitors of this country at Syntagma square, just like the Italians did to Mussolini in 1945" the note said. http://www.athensnews.gr/portal/1/54580

Budja Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Economist kaže da Evrozona lagano ulazi u depresiju a raspala periferija joj je već tamo.Jedan od komentara:Feeling a bit overdramatic today, are we? Stop hyperventilating, R.A.It's probably fair to call Greece a depression at this point. To say it's inevitable (under current policy) for Europe? That's a stretch.Quantitative easing hasn't helped the US much, but it's supposed to save Europe? Yes, I know, you claim it wasn't big enough in the US. That's debatable (at best). But your last three paragraphs are what's really troubling: "eyes wide open", "institutions that know how and why to prevent things from falling apart and which nonetheless sit back and do nothing." But the only logical conclusion of your overheated rhetoric (they know the consequences of their inaction and yet refuse to act) is that the ECB is acting (or rather, refusing to take action) because of deliberate malice.Do you actually believe that? If not (and I don't think you do), then dial down the rhetoric a bit.U svakom slucaju, uredjivacki stav The Economist-a je potpuno sizofren. U ovom clanku kazu too much austerity, u proslom broju podrzali Sarka je Oland 'oce da trosi.

Roger Sanchez Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Apropo današnjih rezultata u Nordrhein-Westphalenu, bit će odličan vic ako Angela otjera s vlasti kompletnu vladajuću garnituru svih EU bolesnika pokušavajući da sama ostane popularna, i onda na kraju popuši svoje izbore.
