banecare1
Whoever said that math can’t be sexy clearly never went to school in Thailand. Thailand’s Office of Vocational Education Commission (VEC) has ordered 2,000 math textbooks to be taken off the shelves in the country’s schools after discovering that Japanese AV actress Mana Aoki had unknowingly been printed on the front cover. :D http://online.thatsmags.com/post/hot-for-teacher-japanese-pornstar-accidently-ends-up-on-cover-of-thai-math-textbook Quote Link to comment

Indy
Civil servant suggested using psychopaths to rebuild Britain after a nuclear strike After giving the world the concept of mutual assured destruction, or MAD, where can one possibly go next, policy-wise? Well, how about psychopath-policed apocalypse? As if coping with nuclear winter and the destruction of civilisation as we know it were not enough, newly declassified Home Office documents have revealed that one civil servant believed that the best way of rebuilding Britain after a Soviet nuclear attack would be to recruit a particular subset of people — who were, she said, “very good in crises”, “tend to be very intelligent and logical” and had “no feelings for others”. Namely, psychopaths. http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/science/article4253348.ece Quote Link to comment
betty
A worker at the Isala hospital in Zwolle has been suspended for frying potatoes in part of the building used for operations, local broadcaster RTV Oost says on Thursday. The worker tried to avoid detection by hanging a sign reading 'do not enter, ebola' on the door, RTV Oost says. The hospital described the incident as 'unacceptable' and said it did not conform with hospital standards. Three other workers were also involved in preparing the French fries but were not suspended. Indy
Nasi retaradi su jos bolji. Australia has urged travellers not to make frivolous requests at embassies Among odd requests, one Australian asked embassy staff to help to get a polecat off a roof. A man approached the Australian embassy in Bangkok and asked for a loan to help pay for a Thai prostitute. [Foreign Minister]: Our consular staff are not there to pay for the repairs to your jet ski. They're not there to pay your hotel bill; they're not there to lend you a laptop or to provide you with office space in the embassy for you to do your work. Quote Link to comment
