July 22, 20204 yr Ukoro (ne) dolazi novi film od Nolana, ovo je vec treci put da pomeraju datum premijere, nadam se da ce izaci makar do kraja ove godine https://variety.com/2020/film/news/tenet-delayed-again-christopher-nolan-1234699068/ Quote Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’ Delays August Release Warner Bros. has removed “Tenet” from its release calendar, delivering a big blow on the exhibition industry at a time when movie theaters had hoped to peg their re-opening to the late summer debut of Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi thriller. Though necessary given the mass uncertainty over when cinemas across the globe can safely reopen, the decision further complicates Hollywood’s already bumpy plan to revive moviegoing. “Tenet” was originally scheduled to debut on July 17, but it was pushed back to July 31 and then Aug. 12. It’s unclear when it will now welcome audiences, but the studio expects to announce a new release date “imminently.” “We will share a new 2020 release date imminently for ‘Tenet,’ Christopher Nolan’s wholly original and mind-blowing feature,” said Warner Bros. chairman Toby Emmerich in a statement. “Our goals throughout this process have been to ensure the highest odds of success for our films while also being ready to support our theater partners with new content as soon as they could safely reopen.”
July 28, 20204 yr Izgleda da ipak za mesec dana stize novi film od Nolana, nadam se da nece biti opet nekog odlaganja, a valjda ce i sam film opravdati ocekivanja https://variety.com/2020/film/box-office/tenet-release-date-international-movie-theaters-1234717187/ Quote ‘Tenet’ Will Release Internationally in August Ahead of U.S. Debut "Tenet" may still be able to salvage a summer release after all — at least outside of the United States. Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi thriller, from Warner Bros., will debut internationally starting on Aug. 26 before opening in select cities in the U.S. over Labor Day weekend on Sept. 3. The studio announced Monday that “Tenet” is launching in theaters at the end of August in 70 overseas territories, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia and the United Kingdom. At this time, it’s unclear what parts of the United States will play the film. The studio does not have plans yet to release “Tenet” in China. Warner Bros. said last week that “Tenet” would not have a traditional global day-and-date release — a surprising (though not unprecedented) break from tradition since North America is the world’s biggest film market and remains pivotal for major movies to turn a profit. But the studio hopes to innovate and recalibrate given the fact that foreign markets are already starting to reopen safely and desperately need new Hollywood movies to entice crowds. The U.S., on the other hand, has seen coronavirus cases exponentially rise in recent weeks, complicating plans to resume operations at domestic movie theaters anytime soon.
