Jedno interesantno viđenje projekta A380 i njegove budućnosti

 

 

In the 1990s, the monopolistic position of Boeing’s 747-400 in the very-large-aircraft segment enabled the U.S. manufacturer to generate disproportionate profits, which it could then use to subsidize other product lines and invest in new R&D projects. Boeing had a huge competitive advantage over Airbus. But the launch of the A380 in 2006 essentially put an end to that situation, and orders for the 747 collapsed, effectively bringing the 747 passenger version to its end.

 

With the advent of the A380, airlines suddenly had something more than “cost per available seat mile” to play with. They were able to reassess their entire business model, with a clear focus on product and service differentiation, and escape the commodity magnet into which many had been falling, particularly in North America. It is indeed no surprise that all operators of the A380—none of which are American—are among the best-rated by air travelers. Their investment in the type, even if marginal for some, shows a real concern for customer service and the quality of the experience they offer their passengers.

Za sada poprilicno labavo, ali se neki pravci naziru: unmanned aircraft enthusiasts are aviators, and with that title, comes a great deal of responsibility..., polako dizu glas i propisu nalaze mane udruzenja modelara, Academy of Model Aeronautics (ATA), stizu i prve primedbe, mada u glavno niko ne dira - sigurnost nacionalnog vazdusnog prostora pre svega.
