Kome francuski pejzaži i crkve nisu po ukusu na ovakvoj etapi preporučujem čitanje ovog rada. Zgodno štivo za prekraćivanje vremena do sprinta :D , o tome kako se više pada u finišima etapa od kako su pomerili sa 1km na 3km rastojanje od cilja u okviru kog se vreme izgubljeno zbog pada ne računa.

A može da se čita i ovoEto, nekim čudom se ni Zabriski ni Hinkapi ni Vande Velde ni Lajphajmer nisu našli u američkom olimpijskom timu... -_-

Ako sačuva žutu majicu, Kanćelara će postati biciklista sa najviše dana u žutom od onih koji nisu osvojili Tur. Kopi, Bartali, Finjon, Ulrih, Zetemelk... svi imaju manje dana u žutom od njega. Spartakus neće nikad osvojiti Tur, ali priličan trag je ostavio na trku.

Lotoa nešto nema pri čelu pelotona... Lampre i Skaj najvidljiviji, Sagan se drži Kavendiševog točka.

@malkinkad pomenu to, citam jutros u novinama da taj rekord drzi doticni vietto i kad su cancellari pomenuli mogucnost obaranja tog rekorda, on je delovao prilicno iznenadjeno: nikad nije cuo za vietta. sto pokazuje koliko mu je stalo do tog rekorda. zanimljivo za statisticare, ali tesko da ce to cancellari nesto mnogo znaciti.

Injured World Time Trial Champion Tony Martin, who fractured his left scaphoid in a Stage 1 crash at the Tour, survived another Tour stage on Thursday. Martin has spent time in the back of the peloton with another injuried Tour rider, Luis Leon Sanchez of Rabobank. Sanchez also injured his hand."We are always together in the back of the peloton, where there is room for discussion" Martin said. "It is true, even if we suffer, we talk a little bit together. We talk about the race, the weather, the conditions of the road. It's funny because each day, we give each other our medical reports. I will explain to him my condition, and he will tell me his condition. We are always kind of updated about our injuries. It's funny in these kind of conditions, while you are suffering, you can sometimes find some good guys to share your thoughts with."

Farar je juče posle etape hteo da popriča sa Vilersom:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMeMr1pzGcATo sve zbog pada, naravno. Kavendiš, sa druge strane, tvrdi da je Farar sam kriv za pad.Verovatno najveća žrtva pada je bio Saksov Džono Kantvel koji kaže da mu fali pola dupeta i da mu je jutros desni skočni zglob duplo veći od levog. Solidan materijal za ppprobu :D OPQS je napravio zanimljivu seriju slika o fazama oporavka posle etape.1.2.3.(Na ovoj slici su bitne čarape, naravno, ne slušalice)

Sta je ovo? Ne moze da prodje etapa bez pada.

Greipel, Gutierrez and Westra in a crashThere are a number of riders who have been caught up in a fall in the peloton. The riders named are: Westra (VCD), Cantwell (STB), Greipel (LTB), Gutierrez (MOV)... we await confirmation on the state of their injuries.

Peraud also caught up in crashAnother rider who was caught up in the recent accident was the Frenchman who finished 10th overall in 2011, Jean-Christophe Peraud (ALM). He seems to have sustained some injuries on an elbow but he's still racing...

Valverde another victim of the 35km crash...Another rider who was caught up in the fall that happened at the 35km mark was Movistar's leader, Alejandro Valverde. All those who were involved are riding again and we have yet to receive an official medical report; but, for the moment, none have consulted the race doctor at the back of the convoy. Gesink also in the recent crash...Another rider who was caught up in the crash at the 35km mark was Rabobank's leader Robert Gesink.
