Filipenko Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Isuse, da li je moguće da dovode Donalda Tuska? Opet će SŠA i Veljikobritanija imati svog čoveka na čelu jebenog Evropskog saveta. Fuj.
Gazeta Wyborcza, the leading Polish daily newspaper, reported that Tusk's wife was keen on the move to Brussels as it would mean more money, more prestige, and more time off.
Tusk's difficulty is that he speaks no French and only poor English, the lingua franca of the summits and also essential in representing the EU abroad and to the media. He understands German. baš ga briga, pored žene može da povede i par prevoditeljica!
Gricko Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 zna nemacki (makar tako kaze). Zna i ruski, zlu ne trebalo :)

Prospero Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Europe Expects by New Europe 30.08.2014 - 09:09 It might be a noble cause. Most European parliament groups have already announced that they will not vote for the new Juncker Commission unless the new president and the member state governments find a way to introduce more women Commissioners. Whether this is based on a genuine belief that imposing some sort of informal quotas based on sex is the way to go or it is just a way for the European Parliament to flex its muscles in the face of the European Commission and the European Council, it is certainly irrelevant. Europe is currently facing arguably existential challenges and, although important, this is not one of them. Nor is the issue of regulating the power of vacuum cleaners that seems to have crept up lately even if – with typical Brussels bubble flair- it can be argued that it contributes to energy efficiency, ultimately adding to the panoply of measures providing some much needed elbow room for Europe to tackle serious problems like the crisis in Ukraine. The Ukraine crisis is a real challenge. The situation in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq is a serious problem. The refugees arriving at Europe's borders if they escape drowning in the Mediterranean is a serious problem. The Eurozone's real economy refusing to be convinced by ideological platitudes is a serious problem. Germany's deeply rooted bipolar insecurities shaping core European policies is a serious problem,so is France's debility and UK's tangential blundering. The divide between the European North and South but also East and West is a serious problem. The resulting estrangement of European societies is a serious problem. All these combine to create Europe's most important existential challenge, a challenge that needs to be faced during the next five years, the life-span of the new Parliament and the new Commission. Based on his public statements up to now, Jean Claude Juncker seems to understand this critical role, the need of a more “political” Commission that will be able to coordinate the necessary steps for a breakthrough and mitigate the detrimental effects of sometimes deleterious internal Member State politics on the overall European project. Member States need to provide him with the Commissioners that are up to the challenge. Not because they are male or female but because they have the skills, the experience, the political savy as well as the willingness to work for Europe's future. Although MEP's were mostly elected on the basis of local politics in the home Member States, they need to transgress local limitations and focus on Europe's critical situation. This is no time for petty old time politicking. They all need to prove themselves worthy of Europe. Veoma istinito :(

Roger Sanchez Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Ireland's economy is growing at an explosive pace not seen since the glory days of the Celtic Tiger, setting off a scramble for Dublin property. Finance minister Michael Noonan said GDP surged 7.7pc in the year to June as rising exports to the US, Britain and China transform the former crisis-state into the eurozone’s star economy, reaching “escape velocity” as the rest of the currency bloc languishes in a slump.Gross national product — a better gauge of Ireland’s internal economy – grew by 9pc, an astonishing pace for a mature industrial state. The turnaround comes less than a year after Ireland regained economic sovereignty, the first of the eurozone bail-out countries to emerge from its EU-IMF Troika regime. The collapse of the banking system in 2008 and the country’s €67bn (£53bn) rescue already seem like another age. The Irish treasury can now borrow for two years at an interest rate of -0.016pc, lower than for Sweden, France, Britain or the US.Dublin house prices have risen 24pc over the past year, though they are still far below their peak and 135,000 households are still in arrears from the last crisis. The Irish Mortgage Holders Organisation said the city is once again in the grip of an “irresponsible property bubble”.
Tribun_Populi Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Востани, Митеране!
