is believed to have been caused by sodium perchlorate, a major ingredient in solid-fuel for missiles which had recently arrived at the port via China. In January, several Iranian ships filled with sodium perchlorate made port in Bandar Abbas after departing Taicang in Eastern China, following reports that Chinese companies had begun to provide Iran with fuel for medium to long-range ballistic missiles, with these reports later being confirmed by the U.S. State Department.

It’s a key component in the solid rocket fuel used by Iran’s ballistic missiles.

After 17 years of living in Bhubaneswar, Nagma Yusuf, 51, left for Pakistan on Sunday, leaving her family in deep distress. She first flew to Delhi and will be en route to Pakistan from there. Her husband, Mohammed Nizamuddin, travelled with her up to Delhi to see her off.

Nagma is among twelve Pakistani nationals identified by the Odisha government for deportation following the Centre’s directive issued after the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives. Based on the Centre’s “Leave India” notice, the Odisha government has initiated steps to deport Pakistani nationals residing in the state.

Nagma had moved to Bhubaneswar in 2008 after marrying Nizamuddin, a contractor she had met through the internet. Since then, she had been living in BJB Nagar on a long-term visa. However, after her visa renewal was rejected, she remained on a visitor visa, which expired in December 2024. Her application for an exit permit is still pending with the foreigners’ registration office. Nagma used to visit Pakistan occasionally but always returned to Bhubaneswar to be with her husband.

“After the Pahalgam terror attack, an emergency-like situation has emerged. We have to comply with the government’s guidelines. She will return once normalcy is restored. But at present, our family is going through immense mental trauma,” Nizamuddin told reporters. The couple has no children.

Pakistanski ministar informacija:

hubristic role of Judge, Jury and Executioner in the region is reckless and vehemently rejected. Pakistan has been the victim of terrorism itself and truly understands the pain of this scourge. We have always condemned it in all its forms and manifestations anywhere in the world. Being a responsible state, Pakistan open heartedly offered a credible, transparent and independent investigation by a neutral commission of experts to ascertain the truth. Unfortunately, rather than pursuing the path of reason, India has apparently decided to tread the dangerous path of irrationality and confrontation, which will have catastrophic consequences for the complete region and beyond. Evasion of credible investigations is in itself sufficient evidence exposing India's real motives. Consciously making strategic decisions hostage to public sentiments, purposefully trumped up for securing political objectives, is unfortunate and deplorable. Pakistan reiterates that any such military adventurism by India would be responded to assuredly and decisively. The International community must remain alive to the reality that the onus of escalatory spiral and its ensuing consequences shall squarely lie with India. The Nation reiterates its resolve to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan at all cost.

Ono cisto random ludilo.

New Angus Reid polling shows if a referendum was held tomorrow, one in four Albertans would vote to leave Canada.
