Aj biftek ko biftek, što reče sensei Bordejn, to može i trenirani majmun, ama što je dobar ovaj krompir (Dauphinoase ga zovu Francuzi) 4dl pavlake, 2 dl mleka i kockica putera se prokuvaju sa lovorom, timijanom i par zgnječenih čenova bluka. Krompir na tanke ploške i ređa se red po red, zaliva proceđenom infuzijom pavlake i posipa naribanim ementalerom.
