Ja Minu odatle prvo "znam", tih godina kada su svirali drugi album "The Guide" (2006.) sam ih uhvatila uzivo vise puta, na dva metra od benda, pa se jos tad stvorila ljubav. ---- Koja pesma sa Sound of Music ti se najvise svidja? The lonely goatherd is obviously Kim and the girls are his "flock", that is the people of north korea - maybe ignorant and naive, but also innocent, pure, uncorrupted by western influence, and respectful of their great leader. The hunter is the personification of the liberal west. It could be Trump, it could be the Red Velvet, and it could be Laibach itself, which for a north korean audience is still a "western" band. But really it's all of them put together. The real aim of the liberal west is to one way or the other "corrupt" the north korean people by exposing them to the capitalist entertainment industry. At first, when the hunter starts moving towards the goatherd's flock, both sides show their dark and threatening sides to each other, but then the children sing a song promising undying loyalty to the great leader and the two sides finally meet. Again, this is a homage to both the Trump-Kim meeting and Laibach's own invitation to North Korea, which are of course related events. With the hunter now within the flock, you can see that his eyes are practically always on the children - he still wants to corrupt them, but the goatherd is there to prevent that. He forces the hunter to play by the same rules as everyone else and not "try anything stupid", hence you see the hunter dancing along along the same rhythm as the rest of the flock, though you can tell that he'd rather be doing something else. This is of course very much the representation of the treatment that laibach itself received in north korea - "play by our rules or you're out". At 2:48-2:50 you can see the goatherd giving the hunter a stern, suspicious look, which he repeats again later on. So of course the whole thing is basically an allegory for DPRK, but who is it really trolling? Probably not so much the DPRK, because if anything it makes their system look like it actually has a purpose, and that the western influence is something to be legitimately feared. To say that the western influence can be potentially dangerous and harmful to anyone is in itself of course already a giant trolling of all the western audiences (I mean trolling in a loose sense, as in "making uncomfortable, provoking a negative reaction"). But I do think that this is Laibach's legitimate and unironic opinion, they're not kidding when it comes to this. But it's worse than that. Along with the rest of the album, this song is basically a hit piece against the "Sound of Music" drama film, what it's really saying is that despite being an ostensibly anti-fascist film, the reality is that the film promotes values such as paternalism, authoritarianism, and blind tribalism, which are themselves not far removed from fascism. Ivan Novak himself said that "a slight twist and it could be seen as a Nazi-propaganda film, despite the fact that it was made by a primarily Jewish production team". So that's probably the second and main part of the trolling here - they're essentially accusing the West of frequently espousing the same exact values and behaviors that it claims to vehemently oppose. (I videces vise Minu :P ) @Indy --- Udavih sa Lajbahom, ali mi je bio jedan od the koncerata prosle godine pa me je Stojko lepo vratio u prosli februar, a evo sa cime sam zapocela ovu godinu, u KC Gradu posle trista godina Vukasin Djelic (WoO, Dol) je ogranizovao trodnevni festival Koledo, drugog dana su se sastale gitare, saksofon i bubnjevi i napravili nesto ovakvo: Umetnici okupljeni oko zajedničke ideje da stvore nesto posebno za ovu priliku, dolaze iz različitih sastava i polja interesovanja. U periodu od dva meseca, radili su na pesmama i motivima koje ce obrađivati i izvoditi uživo prvi i jedini put u ovom sastavu. U toku tri večeri, različiti svetovi će se sudariti u zvučnoj koheziji igre i improvizacije. Drugog dana se susreću imaginarna filmska muzika i tamnija strana jazza sa psihodeličnom i nepredvidivom rock formom. Meditativne i hipnotišuće vizije ovog kolektiva odjekuju daleko, jednako u svojoj tišini i buci.
