Jedno od verovatnih objasnjenja zasto se deo Gaze - Shejaiya danas posebno razara:

 

Gaza ambush kills 13 soldiers from Golani Brigade

 

Thirteen soldiers were killed overnight when they encountered fierce resistance fighting in the dense urban environment of Gaza City, the IDF announced today.

The central battle began when an anti-tank missile fired from within a Gaza building struck an Israeli armored personnel carrier, killing seven soldiers from the 13th battalion of the Golani Brigade, the army says.

The ambush, supported by machine gun fire, took place in the Shejaiya neighborhood of Gaza City, in the northern part of the 40-kilometer-long Strip.

In the ensuing fighting, an unspecified number of soldiers were wounded, including Col. Ghassan Elian, the commander of the Golani Brigade, whose wound was deemed light to moderate.

Negde sam procitao, jos na pocetku ovog sukoba, da je neki izraelski budza rekao da im je ideja da nauce pameti palestince kao sto su naucili pameti hezbolah u Libanu pa vise nemaju problema sa te strane.

ali kad čujem "naši momci" u kontekstu vojske, bukvalno mi se povraća.

 

tu su ameraknic najgori, bez obzira na kojoj su strani politickog spektra (ako ne racunamo krajnju levicu po americkim arsinima), "nasi momci" su konstanta. dodje mi da polupam kompjuter kada to cujem.

ELEMENTS de LANGAGE: les Israéliens font des "morts" chez les Palestiniens. Les Palestiniens commettent des "assassinats" chez les Israéliens. Ces derniers font des "prisonniers" les autres font des "enlèvements". Israël a des "soldats" et des "orthodoxes", la Palestine a des "terroristes" et des "fanatiques". Israël "occupe" tandis que les autres commettent des "intrusions". Il faut savoir lire et écouter nos "informateurs", en Palestine ils n'ont que des "propagandistes"...

 

 

Elementi jezika: Izraelci prouzrokuju "smrt". Palestinci čine "ubojstva" . Izraelci "zarobljavaju", drugi "otimaju". Izrael ima "vojnike" i "ortodoxe", Palestinci "teroriste" i "fanatike". Izrael "zauzima", dok su drugi rade "upade". Mi imamo nase "novinare" u Palestini, oni imaju samo "propagandu" ...

to se najbolje vidi na primeru Palestinian Authority, koji ima neprijateljski odnos sa Izraelom a komplikovan sa Egiptom i SAD.

Schmitt consistently argues against ways of thinking that dehumanize the
