http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81wv_w6_Z8MRIP The Big ManPreminuo saksofonista Klarens KlemonsLOS ANĐELES, 19. juna (Tanjug) - Saksofonista Klarens Klemons (Clarence Clemons), koji je odigrao ključnu ulogu u kreiranju ranog zvuka Brusa Springstina (Bruce Springsteen) preminuo je u 69. godini, preneo je danas Rojters.Klemons je preminuo juče, šest dana nakon što je pretrpeo šlog u svom domu na Floridi."Sa velikom tugom informišemo prijatelje i fanove da je naš voljeni prijatelj i kolega Klarens Klemons preminuo", napisao je na svom internet sajtu Springstin, i kao uzrok naveo komplikacije koje je Klemons imao nakon šloga."Gubitak je nemerljiv, a mi smo počastvovani i zahvalni što smo imali priliku da stojimo uz njega skoro 40 godina", dodao je Springstin.Klemons je počeo da sarađuje sa Springstinom 1971. kao član njegovog pratećeg benda "E Street Band". Svojim solo deonicama osnažio je poznate Springstinove pesme, kao što su "Born to Run," "Jungleland," "Prove It All Night," "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out", "Badlands." Kritičari časopisa "Roling Stoun" su 1975. napisali da je Klemonsov zvuk, "zlosutno usporen", u suprostnosti sa "čudnom hipeaktivnošću" gitariste Stivena Van Zanta (Steven Van Zandt).Klemons je poslednjih godina imao probleme sa leđima i kukovima, a 2008. je imao operaciju kolena.Pre dve godine objavio je knjigu svojih memoara pod nazivom "Big Man: Real Life and Tall Tales", koju je napisao sa prijateljem Donom Reoom.
