vememah Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 Skoro 9% britanske populacije čeka na bolnički tretman nevezan za kovid zbog zauzetosti bolnica pacijentima obolelim od njega, a lista se povećava za 100.000 ljudi svakog meseca, kaže šefica britanskog zdravstvenog sistema NHS. Quote The UK is "in for a tough winter" with coronavirus cases surging and pressure on hospitals growing, the new boss of NHS England has said. Amanda Pritchard, being grilled by MPs on what appears to be a resurgence of Covid-19 following early success in the vaccination programme, said England has "5,900 people with Covid in our [hospital] beds at the moment and that number is going up". She said the increase in people becoming seriously ill with coronavirus, coupled with reduced capacity in the NHS and the need to carry out planned appointments, means hospitals are under a "lot of pressure". The NHS waiting list is currently at the longest it has ever been, with 5.74 million people waiting for hospital treatment - recent figures showed the list is growing by around 100,000 a month. https://www.itv.com/news/2021-10-19/were-in-for-a-tough-winter-nhs-boss-issues-warning-as-covid-cases-rise
Quote The Moscow authorities have introduced a self-exclusion regime for unvaccinated Muscovites over the age of 60. They will have to stay at home until February, according to the order of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. Senior citizens will only be allowed to leave the house to go to the nearest store or clinic, as well as to take out the garbage or walk their pets. "The restrictions established by this paragraph do not apply to citizens who have had a coronavirus infection and no more than 6 calendar months have passed since the date of their recovery," the decree specifies. In addition, he ordered to oblige employers to transfer 30% of employees to "remote work", as well as all employees over 60 years or having chronic diseases. https://novayagazeta.ru/articles/2021/10/19/sobianin-vvel-samoizoliatsiiu-dlia-nevaktsinirovannykh-moskvichei-starshe-60-let-do-fevralia-30-rabotnikov-perevodiatsia-na-udalenku-news?utm_source=tw&utm_medium=novaya&utm_campaign=vlasti-moskvy-vveli-rezhim-samoizolyatsii (prevod: Deepl) Dekret: https://cdn.sobyanin.ru/static/pdf/ukaz-61-um-191021.pdf Edited October 19, 2021 by vememah

vememah Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 (edited) Quote Bulgaria makes COVID 'health pass' obligatory for leisure activities Bulgaria will make a COVID-19 "Green Certificate" mandatory for indoor access to restaurants, cinemas, gyms and shopping malls, the health minister said on Tuesday, as the country struggles with a rising number of coronavirus infections. The health pass - a digital or paper certificate showing someone has been vaccinated, tested negative or recently recovered from the virus - was originally conceived to ease travel among European Union states. As of Oct. 21, people who want to visit indoor public spaces including cafes, hotels, concert halls, museums and swimming pools should show such a health pass, interim Health Minister Stoicho Katsarov told reporters. "The number of new infections and deaths is rising. That forces us to impose additional measures. All activities indoors should be carried out with a green certificate," he said as he appealed to vaccine-sceptical Bulgarians to get inoculated. Bulgaria is the EU's least vaccinated country and has had the highest mortality rate in the bloc in the past two weeks. Only 25% of Bulgaria's seven million people have had at least one COVID shot, well below the EU average of nearly 80%. On Tuesday, it reported 4,979 new coronavirus cases, the highest daily tally since late March, and 214 deaths in the past 24 hours. Katsarov said all medical personnel and care home workers must present a health pass in order to work. It will not be obligatory for teachers, but schools in regions where more than 750 people per 100,000 inhabitants are infected will have to switch to online classes. Katsarov said failure to curb the spread of the disease could trigger tougher restrictions and even a full lockdown. https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/bulgaria-makes-covid-health-pass-obligatory-leisure-activities-2021-10-19/?taid=616f15c17778c400018e67e9 Edited October 20, 2021 by vememah
