Jeremija Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 (edited) Jose Mourinho contract: Man Utd boss set for five-year offer ahead of £1bn transfer plan MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly ready to give their full backing to Jose Mourinho as they plan to become Europe’s No1 club again. The Portuguese boss is currently on a three-year contract at Old Trafford with a 12-month extension option worth £10million a year. That would see the ex-Chelsea manager’s pay increased by a further £2m a year, with the intention to keep him at the club until at least 2022. Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has apparently held talks with United’s owners, the Glazers, and a new package is being put together. The huge project with Jose Mourinho at the helm is also set to see spending at the Premier League giants soar. The report adds that United could fork out as much as £1billion across the next five years. Mourinho’s first summer in charge saw almost £150m spent on the likes of Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, but that appears to be just the beginning. A £200m spree is set to ensue at the end of the season. Manchester United believe they now have the financial strength to keep adding top talent into the squad. The combination of Mourinho’s salary and incoming transfers to restore the club could see the £1bn figure met. Mourinho has convinced Woodward and the owners he is the right man to take the team forward. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/769173/Jose-Mourinho-contract-Manchester-United-Five-Year-1bn-Transfer-News-Gossip-News Edited February 19, 2017 by Jeremija

Weenie Pooh Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 A kad je to Man Utd bio #1 klub u Evropi? Ne trolam, samo se pitam koliko decenija unazad žele da skoče?
Jeremija Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 (edited) Vidim da i Sun ima sličan tekst, očigledno da su novinari briefovani - https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/2897561/jose-mourinho-new-manchester-united-contract-antoine-griezmann-victor-lindelof/ FIVE MOUR YEARS Jose Mourinho to be offered new five-year Manchester United contract with Antoine Griezmann and Victor Lindelof top targetsThe Portuguese boss took over at Old Trafford and signed a handful of key players including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan Exclusive by ken lawrence 18th February 2017, 10:30 pm JOSE MOURINHO will be offered a new five-year deal this summer to oversee the £1BN transformation of Manchester United. The Special One is already on a three – year contract with a further twelve month option on United’s part worth £10 per annum. Jose Mourinho is set to be handed a new deal as he looks to secure a dynasty at United He took over last summer where made a handful of signings that included Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Henrikh MkhitaryanBut after holding talks with Old Trafford owners the Glazers executive vice chairman Ed Woodward is now putting a new mega – package. Mourinho’s pay packet will be bumped up by a further £2M per year with the aim of keeping him until 2022 at least. But he will also be promised an unprecedented amount of cash to ensure he brings in the players who can make United Europe’s No 1 again. The 53 year old has already spent almost £150M on world record buy Paul Pogba (£89.3M), Eric Bailly (£31M), Henrikh Mkhitaryan (£27M) and free transfer Zlatan Ibrahimovic. But he also has plans to sign Athletic Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann who is expected to cost £100M. Antoine Griezmann is expected to join Manchester United in the summer His targets also include Tiemoure Bakayoko who will face Manchester City with Monaco in this week’s Champions League clash and Benfica’s Victor Lindelof. Mourinho – who ironically predicts that the transfer market will get even crazier – could spend £200M this summer. Yet United now believe they have the extra financial strength to keep bringing in top new talent. Over the next five years including Mourinho’s increased salary the investment in restoring the club to the very top could reach that incredible £1BN figure. Mourinho has never spent more than a three – year stretch at any of his clubs. But he has repeatedly talked about the warmth he feels for United and the fans. His reign as Louis Van Gaal’s successor got off to a turbulent start and he was fined by the FA and twice red – carded to the stands. But United head for Blackburn and today’s FA Cup 5th round tie having lost only one game of 23 and already in next Sunday’s EFL Cup final. PA:Press Association The former Chelsea boss could win his first piece of silverware with his new side in next week's EFL Cup final against SouthamptonThey are certainties to reach the last 16 of the Europa League after the midweek 3 – 0 defeat of Saint-Etienne and there is still hope of a top four finish. Woodward and the owners have been deeply impressed by his approach to restoring United’s fortunes after two bad experiences with David Moyes and LVG following Sir Alex Ferguon’s retirement. They are now more convinced than ever that they have the right man for the job. Having spent £500M in the market since Fergie quit they are now going to allow Mourinho to spend almost double that to get the job done. Edited February 19, 2017 by Jeremija
