Problem je sto je Carson zaista idiot i toga nije svestan, dok Trump ipak zna da nema pojma i ovo je samo bluster da ne izgubi prednost u GOP trci.

Ma svestan je i Carson da je sav šupalj, ne može nesvesno da se izigrava tako ubedljiv Uncle Tom. Servira očajno tanku pričicu o ljutom mladom crncu koji je išao okolo i ubadao ljude u stomak (ali je bogu hvala pogađao samo belt buckle) sve dok ga Isus nije pacifikovao, upristojio, i učinio neurohirurgom. (Ima i detalj kako je bio potpuno nespreman za neki bitan ispit, a onda se jako jako molio, i sutra je sve znao za deset.) Sad ovako prosvećen, spreman je da objasni nezadovoljnim etničkim manjinama kako su za sve njihove aktuelne probleme krivi samo lenjost, manjak bogobojažljivosti, i slabljenje porodičnog autoriteta.

 

Treba to sve osmisliti i izvoditi pred kamerama...

Speaking on the same day at Georgetown University, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) provided a more balanced view. He warned against pursuing “reckless adventures abroad,” promising instead to rebuild America’s strength at home, and he made it clear that defeating the Islamic State requires a grand coalition, including Russia and Iran. Sanders praised the efforts to create agreement on a process to end the Syrian civil war and make the transition away from Assad’s brutal dictatorship, but insisted that “our priority must be to defeat ISIS.”

 

The reluctance of Sanders and President Obama to get further enmeshed in these internecine conflicts is exactly right. While we surely should be seeking to build alliances to end the Syrian civil war and quiet the spreading sectarian conflicts throughout the region, ever-increasing U.S. military involvement is a trap. Even as she calls for more, Clinton admits that only the countries and peoples in the region can settle this conflict. It is an admonition she would be wise to consider more deeply.

He inveighed against “the misguided foreign policy of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and unfortunately too many Republicans in the Senate,” arguing that the 2011 toppling of Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi, which Rubio supported, meant that “Libya has been handed over to radical Islamic terrorists.”

He added that politicians “in both parties” are on the verge of making the same mistake in Syria, which is in the midst of a civil war between leader Bashar al-Assad, the Islamic State, and a more moderate opposition. It was a dig at Rubio, who like Clinton, supports U.S. intervention in Syria that includes a no-fly zone and arming moderate rebels, which Cruz believes could benefit the Islamic State.

To je više slično Trumpovom "I'd just get in there, get the oil, and get out" stručnom strateškom mišljenju.
