Some believe, for instance, that she doesn't tell the truth. Or that she's beholden to Wall Street. Or that she got four people killed in Benghazi. Others insist that she played fast and loose with her emails, risking national security and breaking the law. I myself would fault her for pushing President Obama to intervene in Libya: That hawkishness worries me. Regime change is not our business, and I would hope she has learned this lesson.
Budja Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Clinton to Aipac Trump is dangerous for the security of Israel
ObiW Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Clinton to Aipac Trump is dangerous for the security of Israel Iskusno: “We need steady hands, not a president who says he’s neutral on Monday, pro-Israel on Tuesday, and who-knows-what on Wednesday because ‘everything’s negotiable’,” Clinton told the annual policy conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (Aipac),
(Susan Rice, Samantha Power, Vikica Nuland).
Weenie Pooh Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Blitzer: HRC say we need steady hands... Trump: I have the STEADIEST HANDS! Look at these HANDS! "I'm very pro-Israel. The Palestinians have to stop with the terror. What they're doing with the stabbings, it's horrible."
Weenie Pooh Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I'm running against all of them, Hillary's running against a single person. Mathematically, it's unfair
Consistent with his ongoing critique of economic inequality, Sanders, who is Jewish and spent time at a kibbutz after college, offered a plea for a more humane handling of the Israel–Palestine conflict. "To be successful, we have to be a friend not only to Israel, but to the Palestinian people, where in Gaza, they suffer from an unemployment rate of 44 percent—the highest in the world—and a poverty rate nearly equal to that," Sanders said, according to a prepared text of his remarks.Consistent with his ongoing critique of economic inequality, Sanders, who is Jewish and spent time at a kibbutz after college, offered a plea for a more humane handling of the Israel–Palestine conflict. "To be successful, we have to be a friend not only to Israel, but to the Palestinian people, where in Gaza, they suffer from an unemployment rate of 44 percent—the highest in the world—and a poverty rate nearly equal to that," Sanders said, according to a prepared text of his remarks. Israel, he argued, is compounding the suffering with its own aggressive policies. Sanders called on Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu to pull back settlements in the West Bank and turn over hundreds of millions of shekels in tax revenue to Palestinians. Peace, he also said, "will mean a sustainable and equitable distribution of precious water resources so that Israel and Palestine can both thrive as neighbors…Right now, Israel controls 80 percent of the water reserves in the West Bank. Inadequate water supply has contributed to the degradation and desertification of Palestinian land. A lasting a peace will have to recognize Palestinians are entitled to control their own lives, and there is nothing human life needs more than water." Edited March 22, 2016 by Budja
Budja Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 dok baba (mizoginija alert!!!!) kaze sledece “Everyone has to do their part by avoiding damaging actions, including with respect to settlements. Now, America has an important role to play in supporting peace efforts. And as president, I would continue the pursuit of direct negotiations. And let me be clear—I would vigorously oppose any attempt by outside parties to impose a solution, including by the U.N. Security Council.”
