Gonzalo Higuain’s entourage reportedly told Napoli he won’t sign a contract renewal, alerting PSG, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Pipita scored a remarkable 24 goals in the first 24 Serie A rounds, but hasn’t found the net since February 7 and the club crashed out of the Europa League to Villarreal on Thursday.

President Aurelio De Laurentiis criticised his striker by pointing out “he weighs a kilo and a half more, which is like walking around with a brick in your pocket.

“He has to rediscover the brilliant physical condition he was in a month ago, then the results will come back.”

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, that comment came during a tense moment in Napoli’s rapport with Higuain.

It’s claimed his entourage told the club that they won’t renew the current contract, which expires in June 2018, unless the €94.5m release clause is lowered.

De Laurentiis would therefore be preparing an exit strategy for Higuain, the way he laid the groundwork for Edinson Cavani, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Walter Mazzarri by subtly criticising them in the months leading up to their departures.

There are certainly clubs lining up to take Higuain in the summer, above all Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Il Tempo claims Francesco Totti and Roma are ready to extend his contract as a player by another season despite the recent turbulence.

The impression around the club is that eventually a deal can be reached for another season before Totti announces his retirement next summer.

 

Director Mauro Baldissoni confirmed yesterday, "The relationship with Totti will continue. The decision on next season is reserved for conversations between Francesco and the president. For us, nothing has changed, except that we have learned about his discomfort from his perhaps controversial interview."

 

Pallotta will arrive in Rome this week and is expected to be the match against Fiorentina: there will be a meeting with Totti to clarify the future during the week, when there is expected to be clarity on the situation.

Od svih ljudi na terenu Bonuci je probusio Handanovica posle "aistencije" Dambrosia, ja veci poklon skoro nisam video.

Bonucci je neobicno dobar sa loptom za stopera, nije cudno sto je lep gol dao.

D'Ambrosio epski glupan, neshvatljiva reakcija. Nije bilo nikog iza njega, mogao je samo da se skloni i pusti je u gol-aut.

Pa bilo bi malo sramota da sa 3 metra nije dao gol.

 

edit: Nego bih na fuci do 9 pa ne videh sta je bilo sa Kielinijem, tj. vise me zanima kakav je ovaj mali Rugani?

Chiellini povredjen vec duze vreme, obicno su igrali sa 4 pozadi bez njega. Rugani je jedan od najtalentovanijih defanzivaca koje ima Italjia, odigrao odlicnu proslu sezonu u Empoliju. Mada za sada ne pokazuje previse u Juventusu, tu je jer nemaju bolje (Caseres povredjen ozbiljnije), jos uvek je premekan za ovo sto oni igraju.

 

Raspao se Inter rutinski, tako to ide kada oces da budes veci Juventus od Juventusa

Je, Napoli je bas u sjajnom ritmu. Cetiri tekme bez pobede, svadja Higuaina i De Laurentiisa, pljackanje Insignea i agent Koulibalyja sa pricom da je Napoli mali klub za njega. Bice cudo ako sutra pobede nekako. Ja sam uvek za remi
