Iako vojska sprečava pristup aktivistima HRW, u izveštaju postoje dokumentovana ubijanja civila (uključujući i decu) i masivna razaranja gradskih sredina u kojima nije zabeleženo prisustvo kurdskih militanata. Edited July 19, 2016 by reginald
Bartholomäus (Sveti Jernej nad Muto) unternehmen will. Bartholomaios I. werde zunächst zu einem Erholungsurlaub in die französischen Alpen reisen. http://kath.net/news/55981 A Možda i neće http://kath.net/news/55987

Klasicno upadanje u zamku i fail Milosevic stajl. Takeshi Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 fale i brodovi: Turkish navy ships still missing after botched coup Fourteen Turkish navy ships remained at sea and unaccounted for last night amid concerns that their commanders may be coup conspirators seeking to defect. Admiral Veysel Kosele, the commander of the Turkish navy, has been out of contact since Friday night’s botched coup, a source confirmed. It is not known whether he was an instigator of the attempt to oust President Erdogan or is being held hostage by collaborators on the run.
Prospero Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 July 19, 2016 1:07 pmTurkey demands extradition of US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen Mehul Srivastava in Ankara Turkey has sent the US four dossiers on the alleged activities of Pennsylvania-based Islamic cleric Fethullah Gulen, following up on a demand for his immediate extradition that threatens to derail relations between the two Nato allies. Turkish officials on Tuesday also blamed Mr Gulen’s followers for shooting down a Russian Su-24 in November. That incident brought Russian president Vladimir Putin’s wrath on Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Turkey’s economy, in the form of travel bans for tourists and curbs on Turkish exports. The pilots were rounded up on Saturday, as part of what has become a wide-ranging purge of supposed plotters. Mr Putin and Mr Erdogan are expected to meet in August for the first time since the jet was downed, indicating a mending of fences with Russia just as Turkey bristles at Washington for harbouring a man Mr Erdogan once considered a friend, but now describes as a terrorist. Turkey blames Mr Gulen, a 77-year-old religious leader who has lived in Pennsylvania since 1999, for using his millions of followers to instigate a quashed coup that claimed more than 200 lives. Mr Gulen denies the claim, while John Kerry, US secretary of state, has said Washington required credible evidence for any extradition request. The US stance — that any request for extradition should go through a judicial review — has angered Turkish politicians, including Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, who told reporters on Monday that “we will be a little bit disappointed if our friends say ‘show us the evidence’ while there are members of this organisation which is trying to destroy a state and a person who instructs it”. “Even questioning our friendship may be brought to the agenda here,” he added. But the request does not include any evidence of Mr Gulen’s actions related to the coup, said Bekir Bozdag, the justice minister, noting the complexity of an ongoing investigation. Instead, a Turkish official said, the dossiers include the results of Turkish prosecutors’ long-running probes into Mr Gulen’s actions. Chief among them was the widespread phone tapping of Mr Erdogan’s closest aides in a corruption investigation led by Gulenist loyalists that burst into public view in December 2013. The revelations shook the nation after the audio tapes were leaked online. Several of Mr Erdogan’s allies were arrested in what the president branded an attempted coup. Since then, Mr Gulen’s followers in Turkey have been prosecuted under anti-terror legislation and his organisation has been labelled a terrorist group. Turkey’s international allies have urged caution on the vast and ongoing purge that now includes as many as 20,000 people either detained or removed from their jobs. The inclusion of 2,745 judges and 9,000 interior ministry officials so soon after the coup has raised questions of judicial process in both their identification and eventual prosecution. While Turkey has repeatedly called on the US to return Mr Gulen, this is the first time Ankara has submitted a formal request for extradition. Mr Gulen is a permanent resident in the US, but has been stripped of his Turkish passport. The coup adds another variable to an increasingly complex US alliance with Turkey. Washington has relied on Turkey, a fellow Nato member, and its Incirlik air base, for its campaign against Isis. Yet it has frequently found itself at loggerheads with Mr Erdogan, who has prioritised the fight against Kurdish militants over the battle against Isis. Ankara has grown frustrated at Washington’s support of Kurdish groups in Syria that it views as enemies while the US and its western allies long complained that Turkey was not doing enough to seal its borders from Islamist militants seeking to join the fight in Syria. Friday’s attempted coup has added to the tensions, whipping up conspiracy theories among Erdogan supporters that Washington supported the plotters — something the US has publicly denied.
