A vessel in the area confirmed material was floating in the ocean about 92 kilometres off the southeastern coast of Vietnam in the South China Sea. The debris is located about 520 kilometres northeast of a missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370′s last known radar position.

 

A Thai cargo ship in the area was asked for assistance and had set course to the position but had not found anything unusual as of Monday afternoon.

 

The location of the possible debris does not match the flightpath expected to have been taken by the jet, which should have flown directly over Ho Chi Minh City. The location supplied to the Hong Kong’s Civil Aviation Department was more than 125 kilometres southeast of the original flight path.

 

A spokeswoman for Malaysia Airlines said the airline had not received any reports from its crew about spotting debris in the sea near Vung Tau.

Ništa na kraju nisu pronašli, sve to što pluta na vodi potiče od brodova a ne od MH370. Sada opet razmatraju mogućnost da je okrenuo nazad ka Kuala Lumpuru pa će pretraživati i kopno. A potvrdili su i ono što je bilo za pretpostaviti - da znaju neke stvari koje nisu voljni da objave.

 

Usput su potvrdili da svi avioni u sastavu MH koriste ACARS sistem i da MH370 nije ništa poslao kroz isti.

Najbolje da zabodu šestar u mesto gde je nestao i otvore za jedno 10.000 km pa polako sve da pregledaju.

Naravno i svaku pistu na koju je mogao sleteti. <_<

 

Ili su apsolutno nesposobni ili kupuju vreme.

Jedino što mi još pada na pamet je da će se avion za trideset godina uredno javiti kontroli leta u Pekingu i zatražiti dozvolu za sletanje...

Malaysian officials non-committal on MH370 ACARS transmissions

 

 

Officials investigating the disappearance of a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777-200ER are tight-lipped about Aircraft Communications and Reporting System (ACARS) data reported by the aircraft.

 

Malaysia’s Department of Civil Aviation is examining ACARS data from the missing aircraft, but senior DCA officials declined to comment on their findings, if any. They also declined to say when ACARS data from flight MH370 will be released – or even if it will be.

 

In response to a question posed by Flightglobal about the aircraft’s ACARS data, one of the officials cited the “sensitivity of the investigations.”

 

The comments were made after a ministry of transport press conference scheduled for 1100 was cancelled, apparently indefinitely. According to the Twitter account of acting transport minister Hishamuddin Hussein, he instead embarked on one of the search and rescue flights looking for the aircraft in the Straits of Malacca on Malaysia’s west coast.

 

Media reports have said that no ACARS data was received from the aircraft when its transponder disappeared from radar at 0130 local time on Saturday 8 March. The aircraft mysteriously vanished halfway between the Malaysian town of Kota Bahru and the southern tip of Vietnam as it operated the Kuala Lumpur-Beijing route.

 

"All Malaysia Airlines aircraft are equipped with continuous data monitoring system called ACARS which transmits data automatically," says MAS. "Nevertheless, there were no distress calls and no information was relayed."

 

Presumably the aircraft would have transmitted ACARS data prior to its disappearance, but an industry source familiar with ACARS says this would be entirely dependent on the level of service enshrined in MAS’s ACARS contract with one of two ACARS service providers, ARINC or SITA.

 

Use of ACARS among carriers varies widely. Users of the service can have data transmitted at widely varying intervals, such as every minute to every thirty minutes.

 

When an aircraft is flying over land, ACARS data is transmitted via VHF to ground stations, but over water the data is transmitted to satellites.

 

Typically ACARS data has a narrow focus, with engine performance being the most widely monitored aspect of aircraft health. The flight crew can also deactivate ACARS transmissions if they elect to do so.

 

Nonetheless, ACARS data proved crucial for gaining an early understanding of Air France flight AF447, which crashed 1 June 2009. Within three days of this aircraft’s disappearance investigators released ACARS data, revealing that the aircraft had transmitted a number of failure reports for various aircraft systems.

 

It is far from clear, however, if ACARS data will be of similar use in the MH370 case.

 

The search for the missing aircraft, which carried 227 passengers and 12 crew, has entered its fourth day, with ships and aircraft scouring the Gulf of Thailand and the Straits of Malacca.

Još jedna presica u Maleziji je naravno samo unela dodatnu konfuziju. Vlasti sada ispituju četiri moguća scenarija: otmicu, sabotažu, psihološke probleme putnika/posade :blink: i sukobe putnika/posade :blink:

 

Šef policije je opovrgnuo raniju tvrdnju šefa vazduhoplovnog direktorata (onog šaljivdžije kome je pao na pamet Mario Balotelli), da se petoro putnika čekiralo za let ali nije ukrcalo, i da je njihov prtljag uredno skinut. Pandur tvrdi da niko ko je bio čekiran nije propustio let. Još kaže da sumnjaju da je jedan od dva ukradena pasoša koristio 19-godišnji Iranac koji je pokušavao da se domogne Nemačke. Navodno su u kontaktu sa njegovom majkom u Frankfurtu, koja ga čeka da se pojavi. Izgleda da će kod te dvojice lažnjaka ispasti tužna emigrantska priča a ne terorizam.

 

Upadljivo je interesantno da nemaju ama baš nikakvu informaciju gde je avion mogao da završi niti nude objašnjenje za to što su potragu proširili na suprotnu stranu Malezije (u kom slučaju je avion morao da preleti kopno i nije mogao ostati neprimećen od kontrole leta).

Malaysia's police chief Inspector Gen Khalid Abu Bakar said the young Iranian was "not likely to be a member of a terrorist group", adding that the authorities were in contact with his mother in Germany, who had been expecting her son to arrive in Frankfurt.

The authorities' statement supports an account given to the BBC by a young Iranian in Kuala Lumpur who says he was a school-friend of one of the men who boarded the airliner using a stolen passport.

He says the friend and another Iranian, also using a stolen passport, stayed with him before taking the Malaysia Airlines flight, and that they had hoped to settle in Europe.

Reports from Thailand suggest that the tickets of the two men, routing them to Amsterdam via Beijing, had been bought through a Thai travel agent and an Iranian middleman.

Sve luđe i luđe: niti je to mali avion, niti je to toliko pusto područje.

 

Ne verujem da se slupao na kopnu jer bi to bilo uočeno. Opet, ne verujem da je u komadu dospeo pod vodu i da je zato postao "nevidljiv".

Najjaca fora ce da bude kad sleti za koji dan u planirano vreme i gde ce kompletna posada i putnici biti u fazonu da se nista nije desilo. :ph34r:

 

Gledao sam 90% onih emisija Air Crash investigations i ovakav situaciju mogu da zamislim tamo negde 70tih ili 80tih al' u eri sveopsteg spijuniranja i gde se zna kad je ko prdno da "nestane" avioncina za skoro 300 putnika?!?

Ne verujem da se slupao na kopnu jer bi to bilo uočeno. Opet, ne verujem da je u komadu dospeo pod vodu i da je zato postao "nevidljiv".

 

Pod vodu može da dospe u komadu jedino ako padne sa 30-40 metara visine. Kod padova sa krstareće visine nema razlike da li se udara u vodu, zemlju ili beton, plus se avion raspadne pre udara tj. raskomadaju ga G sile.

 

Objavljene su fotografije putnika sa lažnim pasošima, pljunuti Balotelli u oba slučaja. Izgleda da su srpski partijski kadrovi male mace u poređenju sa onim što malezijska plutokratija ima da ponudi.

meni nije neverovatno, koliko je vremena trebalo balardu&co da lociraju titanik iako su znali položaj potonuća, a našli su ga tako što su slučajno nabasali na neke krhotine i onda su pratili iste do broda ili kada su tražili bizmarka, pa tu je učestvovalo više od 10 engleskih bvojnih brodova koji su sigurno kompetentni da u izveštaju navedu tačno mesto, pa je opet potraga trajala nedeljama, a ti brodovi su 3x veća meta za sonare nego avion...

Sa tom sitnom razlikom da je Titanic ležao na 4000m dubine a MH370 je nestao iznad zaliva prosečne dubine 40 a maksimalne 80 metara.

 

AF447 je takođe pao na mestu gde je dubina oko 4000m ali je na površini ostalo više nego dovoljno krhotina, čak je i nekoliko tela putnika bilo pronađeno.

nekakvo ludiranje posade bi objasnilo gotovo sve aspekte nestanka - mogli su da isključe kom.uređaje i odu u tri lepe majčine (kao ms990), a ako vlasti imaju saznanja o tome to bi dodatno objasnilo i njihovo ponašanje (konfuzija, podaci na kašičicu i pritom nedorečeni i nejasni) kao i pretragu u molučkom tesancu  i jugu andamanskog mora koje je sa suprotne strane kopna.

Da, sad čitam o MS990, egipatski faktori su do kraja ostali u denial-u. Što (ako paralela postoji) može da objasni ovakvo malezijsko muljanje koje vidimo.
