It is unusual for prosecutors to execute a search warrant on a lawyer, although Manhattan federal prosecutors have done so before, most notably in recent years against another former lawyer for Trump, Michael Cohen. Ivo Petović Posted April 28, 2021 Share Posted April 28, 2021 Većina predloga iz oba plana su mu odlični, neki čak i transformativni, ali nema šanse da prođu u senatu sa ovakvim brojkama. Nijedan republikanac nikad neće glasati za ovo, a ni "Demokrate" poput Mančina nemaš sa čim da pritisneš da glasaju. Infrastrukturu možda i usvoje, ali povećanje poreza na capital gains i svu ovu socijal demokratiju (stvari koje većina normalnih država već odavno ima) nema šanse, makar ne u ovom obliku. Za neka nepisana pravila rada Senata nisam ni znao do pre par meseci, ali generalno, ceo sistem je postavljen tako da je praktično nemoguće značajno ga menjati sa svim tim checks and balances (ili zaostavštinama rasističkih vremena). FDR je imao u prvom mandatu preko 70 demokratskih senatora, pa mu je opet dobar broj zakona iz New Deala oborio SC. LBJ je imao 67 ili 68 senatora, ako se ne varam, pa je opet morao da zavrće ruke i preti za Medicare/Medicaid/CRA/VRA i sve ostalo, zato što je jedan deo demokrata bio iz konzervativnih država, a postoji pravilo da za nebudžetske predloge mora da glasa 60 senatora (u vreme LBJ čak 67), tako da su svi ovi predlozi koji su epohalni za sadašnji USA, u stvari prošli relativno slučajnim sticajem okolnosti. Danas je skoro nemoguće da Demokrate imaju toliko senatora, a i kad imaju 50 i kusur, uvek se nađe neki serator iz crvenih država koji pravi problem. Obama je u prve dve godine imao čak 60 (59) sticajem neobičnih okolnosti (npr Alaska je imala 1 demokratskog senatora) - iz te perspektive posmatrano Barak Husein je zasrao prilično. Link to comment
