Dream lives on.

Valjda će do pobede.

Nisu izgubili nijednu utakmicu, a nisu prosli grupu.

Sef lokalne policije je to obrazlozio recima kako stadion nije "place for celebration, but place for playing".

Players, fans clash with officials"This is a playing park, not a celebration park,'' the senior police officer told the fans before sending in about 50 riot police.

All Whites players and fans clashed with security staff and police after the match against Paraguay in Polokwane this morning. Celebrating fans on one side of the pitch were forcibly removed by local riot police, while players on the opposite side of the field had to wrestle with Fifa officials to get to their family and friends, After both previous matches against Slovakia and Italy, New Zealand fans remained in the stand for over an hour to sing and celebrate the team's draws, but for some reason the local police in Polokwane had different ideas. About 20 minutes after the players had left the field, a local police chief asked the New Zealanders to leave. But about a hundred Kiwis refused to move and continued to sing. "This is a playing park, not a celebration park,'' the senior police officer told the fans before sending in about 50 riot police. They moved up the stands, pushing the fans back with their shields and batons and into the stairwells behind the stands. Several scuffles broke out with angry New Zealanders and the party quickly turned sour. Even after the stands were cleared, some more serious confrontations continued in the bowels of the stadium. It was unknown what triggered the police move and whether any arrests were made. Police spokesman Motlafela Mojapelo denied there were any major incidents, however, saying "police escorted the fans to the city centre without problems". Another police spokesman, Colonel Hangwani Mulaudzi, also said it was peaceful, saying "police told them to move on, that the game had finished and they obliged. Everything was friendly". Fifa officials this morning were unaware of the incident and would not comment. Earlier, All Whites players themselves had clashed with overzealous Fifa and security staff that would not let the players share the special moment with their family. "They wouldn't let me get to my parents,'' said Tommy Smith who was dragged back by his arms and thrown back over the advertising boardings by Fifa staff. "I had to fight a few off. It got a bit physical.'' "One of the Fifa men said 'let him go through' so I got there in the end.'' Smith emerged from the stand with a picture of his nephew, Harry. "My mum has been waving it around at every game so far. She wanted me to get it signed. I haven't met him yet actually, he was born just before I went away. "I'll be straight up there when I get back [to England]." Speculation was rife before the match against Paraguay that the All Whites would do their first haka since the 1999 Confederations Cup in Mexico, but the players were too devastated about their elimination and abandoned the plan. "We wanted to give something to the crowd,'' said Winston Reid, one of four Maori players in the All Whites squad. "But I looked over to Rory and a couple of the other guys' faces and they all looked pretty down.
