;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=766OVWmBIbw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3m5ljDNfUg"Sainkho Namtchylak is an experimental singer, born in 1957 in a secluded village in the south of Tuva. She has an exceptional voice, proficient in overtone singing; her music encompasses avant-jazz, electronica, modern composition and Tuvan influences..."Btw, sviđa mi se zamisao sa uMunthu-om. Bilo bi lepo kad bi se vremenom razvio i webzine, sa periodičnim člancima po kategorijama i sl. (nekako su mi ove Facebook timelines mnogo nezgrapne, but maybe that's just me). :)

"Geoffrey Oryema came from a highly musical family: his father, a government minister, played the nanga, while his mother was the director of the Ugandan national dance troupe, the Heart Beat of Africa. His grandfathers and uncles were also musicians and storytellers. Oryema learned to play the nanga, guitar, thumb piano, and flute as a teenager, but his progression was interrupted when his father was abducted and murdered by Idi Amin's government, and, perceiving the danger that the remaining family was in, Geoffrey was smuggled into Kenya in a car. He soon moved to Paris, drawing on traditional folklore and the theme of exile for his subject matter, and found a large East African (and a small Western) following. Geoffrey Oryema is from Uganda, the source of his musical roots. His work, however, has been inspired by a myriad of styles - a fully realised absorption of Western pop, African traditions and the creative need to define a very personal musical identity."http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMQzgv1gWlghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xjdUmx26p0
